Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar Launches New Menu

One of Muscat’s most happening spots for parties and fine dining, Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar needs no introduction. Perched at the rooftop of the W Hotel, this poolside lounge is the one-stop place for good vibes, good music, and good food. This time, we visit the Siddharta Lounge to sample their new menu, which artfully blends the soul of the Mediterranean with the finesse of Asia.

Conceived by Brand Executive Chef Milos and brought to life by Head Chef Alexandros Chrysafoudis, the menu is a celebration of flavour and fusion at its finest. Drawing inspiration from Mediterranean, Nikkei, Japanese, and Korean traditions, each dish balances elegance with expressive flavours.

A delicate balance of flavours, textures and ingredients elevates each plate, creating an experience both unique and unforgettable. An example of this is the new options for fan favourite sushi offerings from the Siddharta Lounge. The sushi platter has 4 new offerings, each with a unique and flavourful twist that will keep the lounge’s reputation of being one of the best sushi spots in Muscat. Our favourite, however, was the Philadelphia Mango, a salmon roll sushi that packs in remarkable flavour in every single bite! 

Not only are the dishes super Instagram-able, but each is a journey of different flavours and textures that bring you closer to the Mediterranean and Asia. A few of our favourites were the Beetroot Marinated Salmon Gravlax, a crudo dish with dill, Beetroot crisp and yoghurt sauce that was heavenly. For the mains, you most certainly can’t go wrong with the Seafood & Saffron Risotto, a delicate dance of flavours, that will take u to the Mediterranean and one that will certainly have us going back for more!

Moving on to desserts! The dessert menu lets you choose between Brownie dolce leches, a creamy and decadent mix of banana and chocolate, Cappuccino Mousse, an interesting exploration of flavour and texture, and Pavlova, which serves up a perfect balance of sweet and tart. Now, why mention each of their offerings? Frankly, it’s no easy task choosing what would best complete your dining experience, but luckily, each dessert is unique and unforgettable, and so there is no wrong choice.

The new menu packs many heavy hitters, with dishes that’ll leave you wanting to go back. A celebration of culinary artistry and cultural inspiration, the new offerings by Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar are not to be missed and make for an unforgettable experience.
