Oman’s iconic Omani High Perfumery House, Amouage has unveiled the fall 2025 edition of its seasonal Amouage Café at Alila Jabal Akhdar. Perched at two thousand metres overlooking views of Hajar Mountains, the mountaintop retreat revisits the timeless allure of 1001 nights through a bespoke escape that celebrates the House’s artistry.
Afternoon Indulgence in the Clouds
Guests can begin begin their journey with a High Tea service, available daily until 6:00pm. Set against panoramic vistas of the rugged Jabal Akhdar range, the service presents a delicate selection of pastries and savouries infused with floral, citrus, and spice accords inspired by The Essences collection including creations that weave together rose, bergamot, and cardamom in refined harmony. The mountaintop breeze and the quiet beauty of the plateau turn a simple tea into a meditative moment of serenity above the clouds.
Evenings Suspended in Time
As the sun dips behind the mountains, an immersive expression unfolds, capturing the stillness between light and scent. Evenings unfold beneath a canopy of suspended candlelight, evoking constellations adrift in the night air. Within this otherworldly setting, fragrance and flavour move in quiet harmony, each unfolding with the patience and precision that define Amouage’s Essences collection – Reasons, Lustre, and Outlands.
Echoing this philosophy, the menu traces an olfactory journey through taste, where the warmth of saffron meets the brightness of pink pepper, rose and jasmine bring floral nuance, and the depth of frankincense and vanilla lingers like memory. Each course is shaped by contrast and balance, translating perfumery’s raw materials into textures and tones that evolve with time.
The Café becomes a living reflection of the Essences’ making, where time is slowed, elements are suspended and beauty is revealed layer by layer.

Beyond the Café, Amouage extends its philosophy of High Perfumery into new dimensions of ritual and reflection. Each journey brings scent into dialogue with wellbeing, inviting guests to experience balance through stillness, intention, and care.
The Celestial Wellness Journey offers a moment of pause beneath the Omani night sky. Guided by fragrances Crimson Rocks, Epic 56, and Luban Al Akhdar, the experience combines gentle yoga, stargazing, and storytelling, a serene exploration of nature, culture, and scent.
At Alila’s spa, the Signature Ritual created with Amouage centres on Meander, infused with Hojari frankincense and Damask rose oil. Designed to restore equilibrium, the treatment reflects the House’s belief that craftsmanship extends beyond creation to the art of renewal.
Completing the programme, the Alila × Amouage Mocktail workshop reimagines the language of perfumery through mixology. Inspired by The Essences collection, each creation captures the warmth, brightness, and depth that define Amouage’s compositions.
